Turner Construction's Houston office hires Greg Rhodes as Manager of Business Development

Turner LogoHOUSTON, October 24, 2008 – Turner Construction Company, the top general builder in the U.S., has hired Gregory L. Rhodes as Manager of Business Development at the firm’s Houston office. In this position, Rhodes will lead business development and marketing activities. Prior to joining Turner Construction, Rhodes was Marketing Manager for a leading international commercial real estate firm, where he served as a member of their national sales team, in addition to overseeing property and development marketing.

Rhodes has also held business development and marketing positions with a major general contractor in the Houston market and a major Houston marketing firm. Rhodes, who is currently pursuing his LEED accreditation, is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he serves on the Young Leaders Executive Committee for the Houston chapter. Rhodes is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). In addition, he is actively involved in the Society for Professional Marketing Services (SMPS), the International Association of Business Communications (IABC), the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) Houston chapter.
