December 14, 2018 – Overhead Door Corporation, a leading manufacturer of doors and openers for residential, commercial, industrial and transportation applications, is pleased to announce that Sanwa Holdings has selected Kelly Terry as President and Chief Executive Officer to succeed Dennis Stone, who is retiring from the company after nearly 18 years. These leadership changes will be effective January 1, 2019.
“With the help of our people, our customers and our owners, Sanwa, I have thoroughly enjoyed leading our team to drive strong results, while providing a challenging, sustainable place for our people to learn, achieve and grow,” said Stone.
In his new role as President and CEO of Overhead Door Corporation, Terry will focus on investing in people, while creating the best customer experience for channel partners through operational excellence and providing system technology to enhance the effectiveness of the entire value chain. Terry joined the company as Senior Vice President of Operations for Access Systems Division in 2007. Prior to joining Overhead Door Corporation, Terry accumulated more than 18 years of experience at talent-centric, operationally excellent companies such as Newell Rubbermaid, O’Sullivan Industries and WestPoint Stevens.
“In the coming months, I will be working closely with my team on developing ways to attain greater market share by providing us with best-in-class tools and an intense focus on improving our execution,” said Terry.
As the new President of Access Systems Division, Byrne will continue his predecessor Terry’s focus on helping customers and growing profitable market share.
