The invitation-only community allows influential business leaders to share their expertise with industry professionals across North Texas
August 1, 2019 — Cooper Koch, Principal of Dallas-based public relations firm Cooper Smith Agency, has been selected to join the Dallas Business Journal Leadership Trust, an exclusive invitation-only community for influential North Texas business leaders, executives and entrepreneurs that impact society through their field of work and beyond.
“This opportunity to connect more with both established and up-and-coming business leaders in the area plays into one of my passions: fostering conversations within the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth business community,” said Koch, who is also the founder of a robust online network of North Texas public relations professionals.
Membership to the Dallas Business Journal Leadership Trust is reserved for the most prominent and innovative executives in the Dallas-area leading companies. As an invited member, Koch will contribute articles to the Dallas Business Journal website and participate alongside fellow members in ‘Expert Panels’ to provide expert insights to the publication’s readers. Koch was recently featured in a round-up of “guiding principles” he relies on for his professional and personal endeavors.
“Dallas’s thriving business community is powered by leaders like Cooper,” said Ollie Chandhok, president and publisher of Dallas Business Journal. “We’re honored to be creating a space where the region’s business influencers come together to increase their impact on the community, build their businesses and connect with and strengthen one another.”
Throughout his career, Koch has provided public relations counsel to a number of high-profile companies and organizations, including Southwest Airlines, UnitedHealthcare, Turner Construction and Dal-Tile Corp. Koch now focuses his firm’s efforts in the commercial real estate, construction, development and building materials industry, with clients ranging from top real estate developers to global building materials manufacturers like Presidium, LATICRETE International Inc., KWA Construction and Overhead Door™ Brand.
Koch is heavily involved in the local community and sits on the advisory boards for Frost Bank and Lost Oak Winery. He is also the president of the Board of Trustees for The Kessler School in Oak Cliff and sits on the Board of Directors for HelpUsAdopt.org, an organization that provides life-changing grants to assist families with adoption-related expenses.
